Musician portraits made in silkscreen technique

I would like to present my series of portraits i did as a printmaking part of my master's degree diploma in Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław.

The graphic design part – rebranding of the music festival held in Poland can be found here.

My style has it origin in many different experiences and inspirations – but the thing that gives me the most fun is working with music industry and illustrating people. I wanted to combine those two things and by using the silkscreen technique i created a series of 8 posters.

Various inspirations from music covers, style and personality was hidden in this series. I wanted to leave the signatures out to play with the viewer and ask them about the knowledge of these people.

I hope you'll like it!

(Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, "Frytki i Sos", "Gniazdo" and "Busz").

An important part of those exhibition was a mirror – it reflected the style of the second part of my master's degree project (identity of music festival) and allowed for interactivity with the viewer and made them the "9th portrait".
